Raising Standards Alliance

Raising Standards Alliance aims to inspire others to innovate and develop best practices across all businesses for the benefit of society at large. Our objectives are to promote awareness and raise donations for worthy causes, engage with research bodies and academics, plus share evidence and outcomes with strategic partners to ‘level-up’ opportunities for under-represented groups.

We will be kick starting the Raising Standards Alliance with a pilot campaign to raise awareness and funding for safer gambling charities, during Safer Gambling Week.

Safer Gambling Week

Safer Gambling Week 2021 runs from 1st – 7th November and is a campaign led by the gambling industry that aims to create a conversation with staff and the wider public about safer gambling, driving awareness of:

  • Where to get advice and support;
  • How to gamble more safely;
  • and the tools that are available to do so;

The UK and Irish gambling industry – amusement arcades, bingo clubs, bookmakers, casinos and online – has come together to support Safer Gambling Week.

We will be asking people to donate in an innovative way to safer gambling charities including GamCare, Gordon Moody, and the Young Gamers & Gamblers Education Trust (YGAM).
